Hi! I'm Gauri Menon, a sophomore at Georgia Tech majoring in Computer Science. 💻
With hands-on experience in programming, I have honed my skills in Python, Java, and HTML/CSS for web development. I also have a creative flair for graphics and UI/UX design, proficient in tools like Canva and Figma, where I enjoy bringing my ideas to life.

NeuroNest
Project Overview:
NeuroNest is an app that helps neurodivergent individuals (or really anyone) find places based on what makes them feel at ease — whether that's quiet cafes, green spaces, or low-crowd environments.
Design Track Winner of Hack Like W@CC 2025
Technologies Used:
• Figma
Key Features:
• User registration
• User can save places to their profile
• User can view places / "eggs" on a map
• User can view ratings of locations
• User can personalize their profile
Development Timeline:
• Done in 6 hours for a one-day hackathon. Solo.
Challenges Overcome:
• Finding a good theme for the app
• Creating the brand identity
• Maintaining contuinity and functionality
GeoGuard
Project Overview:
GeoGuard is an app designed to be your personal safety guardian, using up-to-date crime data to keep you aware of dangerous areas in Atlanta.
Technologies Used:
• Frontend: React.js
• Backend: MongoDB Atlas, Node.js
Key Features:
• Map-based interface made using the Google Maps API to display crime data through heatmaps
• Users can view crime data in a given area
• Data sourced via Atlanta Police Department
Development Timeline:
• Planning & Design: 1 day
• Frontend Development: 6 hours
• Backend Integration: 12 hours
• Testing & Deployment: 6 hours
